My work lives at the intersection of:

I am a haircare and hair design enthusiast who has spent decades under the care of trained stylists, and over time, beauty became a core part of my self-care and a place of refuge.

Through my own hair journey, I experienced many of the same challenges I later saw across the industry—limited product consistency, discomfort with certain protective styles, and a lack of accessible, reliable resources for understanding and maintaining textured hair. I often found myself piecing together solutions or creating my own approaches to achieve the results I needed.

At the same time, I observed how many talented beauty professionals, especially women-led and BIPOC-owned businesses, were doing high-quality work without the systems needed to support consistency, efficiency, and long-term stability.

That combination of lived experience and observation led me to begin building QT Kinky Twists™, a crochet hair line grounded in real-world testing, performance tracking, and intentional design focused on comfort and consistency.

As the work evolved, I expanded into structured care models like VIP Naturalista™, designed to bring cadence and sustainability to both client care and business operations.

This business is rooted in creating solutions I needed myself—and extending them to support both clients and the professionals who serve them.
